Regina’s Edible Campus Harvest Celebration!

Join Regina’s Edible Campus and Carmichael Outreach in a harvest celebration on Wednesday, September 12!

The Edible Campus consists of three vegetable gardens that promote community engagement and sustainable development on the University of Regina campus. The garden’s volunteers donate two-thirds of the produce harvested to Carmichael Outreach, a local charity which provides support to those in need.

The harvest celebration will include a tour of two of the gardens, the RPIRG Green Patch and Le Potager (Institut fran├žais). This will be followed by a harvest bee in the Green Patch and tasty snacks made from the organically-grown garden produce.

Wednesday, September 12, 2012
12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Starts at Le Potager, outside the Language Institute, University of Regina – ends at the Green Patch, south of the Dr. John Archer Library
