RPIRG is looking for an AV Coordinator!

RPIRG is looking for a dedicated volunteer to coordinate AV services for our upcoming events this year.

Responsibilities would include helping with transporting AV equipment to and from events, setting up equipment at events, and troubleshooting any issues that may come up. Equipment includes speakers, microphones, computers, etc.

Events will take place throughout the year. Some events include:

  • Generating Momentum: August 23-26 2012 (out of town, inquire for more details)
  • RPIRG Annual General Meeting: September/October 2012 TBA
  • Apathy into Action: January 18-20 2013
  • Various speakers, workshops, etc. throughout the year

If you want to volunteer with an organization dedicated to positive environmental and social change, and you have a passion for technology, this is the role for you!

As with all volunteering opportunities, you’ll receive an RPIRG fairly-made t-shirt and a letter of recommendation upon completing ten hours of volunteer work.
