RPIRG Welcomes New Outreach and Events Coordinator

Meet Alicia Miller, our new Outreach and Events Coordinator:

“I’m in my second full year at the U of R taking International Studies. I’m very passionate about human rights and environmental issues, which is why I’m in my program. I currently volunteer at the Regina Sexual Assault Centre as an Overnight Volunteer Advocate/Councilor, and have volunteered on the Queen City Pride Board and at Ten Thousand Villages where I eventually became a manager over my 4 years there. I love riding my bicycle because it’s better for the environment, and I’m all about personal mental and physical health. I’ve received several scholarships based on my academic average alone and I absolutely love learning and acquiring knowledge. I take a great interest in politics and hope that someday I’ll be able to be in a position where I can make a positive change in the world. I’m super excited about taking on this position because it combines all of the things that I love and am passionate about, with the convenience of being at my university!”
