Articles of Amendment
The RPIRG Articles of Amendment are a set of amended Articles, in accordance with the Nonprofit Corporation Act 2022, that establish RPIRG as a non-profit organization. They explain RPIRG’s purpose, legal status, and basic structure, and confirm its commitment to serving students and the public interest.
By-Laws
The RPIRG Bylaws explain how the organization is run. They set out rules for membership, meetings, decision-making, and the responsibilities of the Board and staff, helping ensure RPIRG operates transparently, democratically, and in the best interests of students.
Policies
In accordance with the Bylaws, the Board adopts policies to guide and govern the organization. These policies set out clear expectations, procedures, and standards for decision-making, operations, and accountability, helping ensure the organization is run transparently, responsibly, and in the best interests of its members.
