We’re excited to have Tracey Mitchell (there’s a great interview with Tracey on Kindred Cities – kindredcities.tumblr.com, search ‘Tracey Mitchell’) from Saskatoon joining us on Saturday, February 4th @ 2:30-5:00PM here at the University of Regina Main Campus (Research and Innovation Centre room 208) for an awesome workshop on conflict transformation.
Workshop Description:
This workshop will explore why conflict happens, the pros and cons of conflict and how to transform conflicts, or at least our perceptions about them. This hands-on workshop will introduce the tools of nonviolent communication, perspective checks, and more, and will provide a chance to practice using these tools.
Facilitator Bio:
Tracey Mitchell is the Prairie Region Manager for Next Up Leadership program. She has studied conflict management through the Resolution Skills Centre in Winnipeg.
REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED TO ATTEND THIS WORKSHOP. Sign up HERE, it’s completely free and open to the public!
