Eyewitness Report on Gaza

Join us on October 22 at 7 pm for a powerful and moving talk by Dr. Deirdre Nunan, an orthopaedic surgeon who trained in Saskatchewan and has spent much of the past decade working in humanitarian crises around the world. Over the years, she’s brought her surgical skills to some of the most difficult and dangerous places, including nearly two years in Gaza. In fact, she’s been there three times just in the past year, most recently returning from Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, where she worked under incredibly challenging conditions. Dr. Nunan brings a deeply personal perspective to what it means to provide medical care in conflict zones. When she’s not overseas, she works in Moose Jaw.

This is a rare chance to hear firsthand what it’s like to be on the front lines of both medicine and humanity. Everyone is welcome no registration is needed, and admission is free.
