RPIRG’s ANNUAL SUPPORT FOR THE RHS

The Regina Public Interest Research Group (RPIRG) is giving annual funding to the Regina Horticultural Society to expand their impact on the GRIN Grant Program. We've been able to give $5,000 annually to grow the amount of approved projects and increase the amount given from $1,000 to $2,000.

The Regina Horticultural Society (RHS) is a non-profit dedicated to encouraging gardening as a way to enhance the environment and improve the quality of life for both its members and the wider community. They focus on educating members and the general public about horticulture while promoting and supporting gardening initiatives.  The RHS came out with GRIN Grant initiative  in March 2014 in the effort to support community grow projects in Regina. It is annual funding project that is awarded to one or more approved project applicants. This grant helps fund projects that support projects in that increase awareness about gardening and a safe, sustainable environment within Regina.
