Take Over Your Union!

Join us on October 21st for Take Over Your Union! with Dr. Andrew Stevens. Dr. Stevens will explore what happens when you don't like the direction of your union (student or labour), and how to take it over. But remember that the real work of advancing change comes after. This workshop talks about the importance of campus groups, and walks students through the basic of proper governance, accountability, and membership engagement.

Please note that when we say “Take over your union,” we are referring to taking over its leadership and direction through democratic participation. This does not imply taking over from or targeting any group or individual based on race, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other protected characteristic.
