Workers Rights Workshop & Spicy Wing Competition

RPRIG is excited to invite the Saskatchewan Federation of Labour and all students to a one-of-a-kind event that blends education, advocacy, and a whole lot of fun—our Workers' Rights Workshop and Spicy Wing Competition on March 18th 2025, 12 pm to 2 pm in the Lazy Owl.

The Work Your Rights presentation is a partnership between the Saskatchewan Federation of Labour and the Workers Compensation Boards prevention branch WorkSafe Saskatchewan. The Work Your Rights presentation covers important information related to occupational health and safety and labour standards so that workers have an understanding of what their rights are—and how to exercise them—in the workplace.

Once the workshop wraps up, we’re turning up the heat with a Spicy Wing Competition! This fun and spicy challenge will allow you to test your tolerance for heat while enjoying some friendly competition. To participate you must have attended the entire lecture and sign a waiver. The winners of the competition will receive 200$ tuition vouchers. It’s a perfect way to meet new people, get some money, and have a laugh while celebrating workers and their rights. Whether you’re a spice expert or just want to learn your rights, the event promises to be an unforgettable part of the day.

You must attend the workshop and sign a waiver form to enter to the competition.
