Garden Harvest Celebration 2025
Come join us for a meaningful and hands-on experience on August 20th from 10 am to 1 pm, as we host our Green patch Garden Harvest, located just behind the Dr. John Archer Library at the University of Regina!
This event is all about bringing people together to celebrate the power of sustainable, community-grown food. Over the past 13 years, we've been committed to growing a variety of fresh, pesticide-free vegetables, and now it's time to harvest them and share the love during the 2025 garden season. All of the produce we collect will be donated to local food banks, helping to provide healthy, environmentally friendly food to those in need in our community.
By helping, you're not only supporting food security and sustainability, but also contributing to the creation of a more ecological, community-driven campus. It’s a great opportunity to get outside, meet new people, learn about gardening, and take part in something that truly makes a difference.
Everyone is welcome, no prior harvesting experience is needed! We could really use your help to get some of the food harvested and ready for donation. So come lend a hand, enjoy the fresh air, and be part of this rewarding community effort.
